ANNUAL MEDICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE (AMEC)

The Annual Medical Education Conference is the largest gathering of underrepresented minority students across the United States. AMEC gives attendees several days of innovative programming geared at preparing the next generation of professionals for successful careers in medicine. It is a great opportunity to network, attend workshops, sessions on different topics, and speak with programs for all members wanting to go into medicine.

The top 10 active point-earning members in the fall semester are chosen to attend the SNMA conference without having to worry about flight and hotel costs. These members will only be responsible for the conference attendee fee. (These top 10 members must also be active members into the spring semester to be eligible).

All other members of MAPS are welcome to attend AMEC, but are financially responsible for all costs.
