MINORITY ASSOCIATION OF PRE-HEALTH STUDENTS


MAPS PURPOSE

The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students at Texas A&M's goal is to increase the volume of minority applicants and acceptees to healthcare professional schools throughout the country.

The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students, or MAPS, represents the undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students of SNMA. MAPS members are considered national Associate members and make up about one-third of SNMA's membership. Associate members are eligible for most all SNMA national benefits.


WHY MAPS?

MAPS provides resources that lead to your success at the undergraduate level and throughout your journey to professional school. When you are looking at this organization, we don’t want you to just see another accomplishment on your list but rather an organization helping you grow into the best health professional.

We will help guide you into becoming a health professional that is “Lighting the Way: Creating Health Equity through Education, Advocacy, and Service”.

We will help you pursue your goals by providing you with mentorship, education, and a variety of opportunities!!
